UPDATE ON JAMAICANS OVERSEAS AND MEASURES BEING TAKEN TO ASSIST THEM

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingston – Through our Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates across 20 countries, we have done our best, and in addition with our Honorary Consuls and our very important Diaspora communities and Diaspora associations, we have been able to identify and provide support, sometimes it’s a conversation and counseling as has been set up by an excellent team of pastors and counselors in Miami who reached out to our hotel workers and we are discussing how to engage more deeply with a broader set of persons who have found themselves in circumstances where they had not planned to be as a result of the Global COVID-19 Pandemic.
