Prime Ministers broker WI deal, task force established

Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Prime Ministers have brokered a deal on the way forward for West Indies cricket following the recent impasse occasioned after the team aborted its tour of India over pay structure issues.

The meeting on Friday, convened by Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines Dr the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves and including Grenadian Prime Minister Dr the Rt Hon. Keith Mitchell, West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Dave Cameron, players Dwayne Bravo and Denesh Ramdin, as well as their legal representative Ralph Thorne, was very successful.
