CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque (4th left) at the Belize Public Library where Jaws and MAGic software were installed to assist the visually impaired to access information on CARICOM and the CSME.

The computer applications were procured under a programme called “Improving Information Flows within the CSME,” which falls under the Canada supported CARICOM Trade and Competitiveness Project (CTCP) in the CARICOM Region. The Jaws and MAGic applications increase the visibility of text contrast; has a built in magnifying glass and provides a text to speech engine.
