Road to CCJ – Antigua-Barbuda launches campaign

Antigua and Barbuda will today launch a Public Education Programme “The Privy Council versus the Caribbean Court of Justice”.  The programme, which begins at 9:00 a.m. will feature several high level presenters including Prime Minister Mr. Gaston Browne, President of the CCJ Justice Denis Byron and CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque.

The authorities in Antigua and Barbuda are working towards joining Barbados,  Belize, Dominica and Guyana which have replaced the Privy Council with the CCJ as their final Court of Appeal.
