First it was only in English. Then Dutch. Now thanks to the Caribbean Regional Information and Translation Institute (CRITI) there is also a French version of The Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas which established the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) including the CSME.CRITI_French_Treaty

On Monday evening, Chair of the Advisory Committee, CRITI, Ms. Annette Tjon Sie Fat and Executive Director Mr. Hendrik Alimahomed made a symbolic hand over of a copy of the French edition to CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, at the CARICOM Logo_CRITI-logo-smallSecretariat Headquarters in Georgetown. Suriname-based CRITI provided the translation.  CRITI was established in 2008 to provide high quality translation and other language services to foster better regional integration.

The fifteen member Caribbean Community has a French speaking Member State, Haiti and Dutch speaking, Suriname.
