Chastanet to take oath this afternoon
The swearing-in ceremony for Saint Lucia’s Prime Minister-designate Mr. Allen Chastanet takes place at 2:00 this afternoon.
Governor-General Dame Pearlette Louisy will preside over the ceremony at Government House, Morne Fortune.

Mr. Chastanet led his United Workers Party (UWP) to victory in Monday’s general elections. Preliminary results gave the UWP 11 seats and the Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) of outgoing Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Anthony six.
