Programme Manager for Human Resource Development at the CARICOM Secretariat Dr. Eduardo Ali said that he was very pleased with the outcomes of a recently held Regional Human Resource Development Workshop at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown. The event was organised by the CARICOM Secretariat and HRD Commission. The HRD Commission included a group of experts from across the Region and is responsible for developing policy recommendations for education reform in CARICOM Member States. The workshop was administered by technical staff from the CARICOM Secretariat in the form of a modular course. The main purpose was to formulate a Regional Framework for Action that will implement the recently approved CARICOM HRD 2030 Strategy which will be presented to the CARICOM Heads of Government in July 2017. Check out the clip for Dr. Ali’s take on the outcomes of the forum.
