Antigua-Barbuda and Suriname to formally strengthen ties

Antigua/Barbuda and Suriname on Wednesday signed an MOU on the side-lines of the Thirty-Eighth CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting, through which they hope to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Tourism, cultural exchanges and trade are among the areas identified for attention and some activities have been given specific implementation timelines, media representatives at the signing ceremony were told.
Antigua and Barbuda’s Foreign Minister Hon. Charles Fernandez and Suriname’s Foreign Minister Hon Yldiz Pollack-Beighle signed on behalf of their respective countries.
