US Cricket Academy visits CARICOM Headquarters

Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, yesterday met with students and trainers from the United States Cricket Academy who stopped by the CARICOM Secretariat during their visit to Guyana. The young cricketers, who are in Guyana for a short visit, were greeted by the Secretary-General in the Secretariat’s large conference room where they also got brief presentations on some of the departments within the Secretariat including the Conference Services Section and the Integrated Information Systems Department. They also toured the buildings facilities.
