Caribbean must come together
RECENTLY one of the presenters in our Business publication highlighted some of the ways forward for Barbados in the new changing economic environment.
One of the points raised in the presentation was the need for more collaboration and that the country looks to research and development as an option for going forward. For some it makes no sense hiding behind the economic difficulties which this country and many others in our region are trying to come to terms with.
It was with much satisfaction that similar sentiments were highlighted last week at a day-long workshop aimed at discussing policies and institutions for economic transformation.
