Tropical Depression forms – could become a hurricane this week

Tropical Depression Four has formed in the eastern Atlantic and is forecast to strengthen into Tropical Storm Danny during the next day or so. In fact, the National Hurricane Center says that Danny could become a hurricane by late Thursday or Friday. This is the first active tropical depression or named storm in the Atlantic since the final advisory for Claudette on July 14.
