CARICOM Secretary-General arrives in Haiti for opening of CARIFESTA

sg_arrival1 — CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque on arrival in Haiti Thursday. He was met by Minister of Culture Ms. Dithny Joan Raton (r) and Minister of Communications Mr. Rothschild Francois Jr (c).

sg_arrival_interview2 — On arrival for CARIFESTA, the Secretary-General was interviewed by the Haitian media. Ambassador LaRocque will join Haiti’s President H.E. Michel Martelly in addressing the CARIFESTA Opening Ceremony which begins at 7:00 tonight.
