Trinidadians vote for change
Trinidad and Tobago on Monday elected the Peoples National Movement (PNM) led by Dr. Keith Rowley into office to replace the coalition People Partnership government of Prime Minister Hon. Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
Preliminary results show the PNM took 23 of the 41 seats at stake with the other 18 going to the Partnership in which Mrs Persad-Bissessar’s United National Congress (UNC) is the main party.
