Bahamas Prime Minister Pays Tribute to Dr. Munroe ahead of Memorial Service

The Prime Minister’s visit came ahead of a National Memorial Service, scheduled for Thursday 4 December at the Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau.

Dr. Munroe, an internationally renowned Pastor, his wife Ruth and seven others died in a plane crash on 9 November  2014.

CARICOM Secretary General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque in a message of condolence shortly after Dr. Munroe’s death described him as “an exemplary son of the Caribbean Community whose life was defined by faith, excellence, enterprise and inspiration. ”
