CARICOM Heads meet UNCTAD Secretary-General
CARICOM Heads of Government met with Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Mr Mukhisa Kituyi, Monday night, on the margins of their 30th Inter-Sessional Meeting in St. Kitts and Nevis.

UNCTAD supports developing countries to more effectively benefit from the globalised economy by providing technical and other assistance to help them use trade, investment, finance and technology to fuel sustainable development.

The Heads of Government begin two days of deliberations on Tuesday. Enhancing Regional Air and Maritime Transportation and expanding the categories of persons to move and work freely under the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) are among maters to receive attention.
