CARICOM Heads meet Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s CARICOM-US Summit

CARICOM Heads of Government met Wednesday ahead of the CARICOM-US Summit scheduled for Thursday 9 April 2015 in Kingston, Jamaica.
Competitiveness, energy, security will be the focus of the highly anticipated Summit to be co-chaired by CARICOM Chairman Rt. Hon. Perry Christie and President of the United States of America Barack Obama.
The themes of Thursday’s Summit reflect the major concerns of the Community as many of the Member States seek to emerge from the lingering effects of the global economic and financial crisis.
