CARICOM SG meets UK Minister of State

Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, met Tuesday morning with the Rt. Hon. Baroness Anelay, Minister of State in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, United Kingdom.

The Secretary-General was joined at the meeting at the CARICOM Secretariat in Guyana by Assistant Secretary-General, Foreign and Community Relations (FCR), Ambassador Colin Granderson; Adviser, Office of the Secretary-General, Mr. Neville Bissember, and Deputy Prorgramme Manager, FCR, Mr. Brian Bellevue.

Baroness Anelay was accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Greg Quinn, British High Commissioner to Guyana; Ms. Hannah Dudley, Private Secretary to Baroness Anelay; Mr. Peter Reilly, Head of the North America Department; and Ms. Harriet Matthews, Commonwealth Summit Policy Director.

Baroness Anelay has been emphasising the UK’s  commitment to a strong relationship with the Caribbean Community.
