CARICOM Summit opens this afternoon

The Opening Ceremony for the Thirty-seventh Regular Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government will be held on Monday 4 July from 5:00 p.m. at the National Cultural Centre, Georgetown, Guyana.

The Opening Ceremony will be addressed by:

• CARICOM Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque
• Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness
• Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Allan Chastanet
• Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hon. Ralph Gonsalves
• President of Suriname, E. Desi Bouterse
• Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Hon. Keith Rowley
• CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit

Accredited local and visiting media representatives covering the Opening Ceremony are asked to be in place by 4:00 p.m. Photographers and videographers will be directed to your positions for the arrival of Heads of Government and other delegates and for the ceremony.
