Expo Milano 2015 an opportunity to tell our story – CARICOM SG
Expo Milano 2015 provides the opportunity for the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) to tell its story of small states being threatened by climate change, CARICOM Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin laRocque said Thursday.
The Secretary-General was at the time delivering remarks at the signing ceremony for the CARICOM Participation Contract for Expo 2015 in Milan, Italy, 1 May – 31 October, 2015. The Exposition will be held under the theme `Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’.

The other signatory to the Participation Contract was Mr Filippo Ciantia, Africa, Non official Participants, Cluster and Best Practices Director, Participants Division, Expo 2015
He said that the theme of the Exposition was at the heart of development all over the world.

The ceremony was held during a one-day meeting of the Regional coordinators of the Community’s participation in the Exposition .
