  • No additional strengthening is forecast as Graces moves toward the west early this week.
  • As Grace moves into the central Atlantic Ocean and eventually the waters near the Lesser Antilles, it’s forecast to weaken due to increased wind shear.
  • Grace could degenerate into a tropical wave prior to reaching the Lesser Antilles due to this wind shear. This would be similar to what we saw with Danny in August.
