Haiti President, CARICOM SG participate in CARIFESTA XII activites together

As the CARIFESTA XII tempo picks up steam, the President of Haiti H.E. Michel Martelly and CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque  got together to participate in the various activities. They were accompanied by Assistant Secretary-General in charge of Human and Social Development at the CARICOM Secretariat Dr. Douglas Slater as well as other Haitian and CARICOM officials. The group started their tour at the Triomphe where country performances were held then went on to the Grand Market, meeting and greeting the various artistes and other persons who had exhibits and displays. The group also paid a visit to the CARICOM Secretariat/CRITI booth.
