Haiti to benefit from CDF country assistance programme

Haiti is on track to benefit from a Country Assistance Programme (CAP) of the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) when that Barbados-based organisation’s second funding cycle starts in July 2015.

The CDF provides technical and financial resources to “disadvantaged countries, regions and sectors” within CARICOM and since 2010 has approved CAPs of almost EC$124 million (US$46 million) in loans and grants for financing projects in OECS member states, Belize and Guyana.
