Happy National Heroes Day SVG

The people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are today celebrating National Heroes Day.

The highlight of the celebrations was a wreath laying ceremony this morning at the Obelisk erected in honour of the country’s only National Hero, the late Carib Chief Joseph Chatoyer. There were several presentations by government and other officials, as well as dancing and drumming.
