Japan Ambassador gives lecture on Jamaica/CARICOM relationship

The Ambassador of Japan to Jamaica, HE Yasuo Takase, will this evening make a presentation dubbed ‘A lecture on Japan’s Foreign Policy: Japan’s policy towards Jamaica and CARICOM’, at the Kiwanis Club of Kingston meeting in the New Kingston Business Centre.

The ambassador’s presentation will highlight important milestones in the relationship between Japan and Jamaica as part of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, as well as give an overview of the Japan/CARICOM Friendship Year.

The lecture will be delivered in the context of Japan’s wider diplomacy in the CARICOM and Latin American regions, against the backdrop of Japan’s Global Diplomatic initiatives. (Jamaica Observer)
