MoBay Youth To Introduce Obama At UWI Town Hall Meeting
When US president Barack Obama rises to speak at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Town Hall youth meeting this afternoon, he will do so at the invitation of 22 year-old Aubrey Stewart.
The youth advocate, a former Cornwall College Head Boy, grew up in the volatile inner-city community of Albion Lane in St James.
His life is a story narrated by poverty, but academic prowess, callous conditions but a caring heart, and the discipline instilled by his mother Rosemarie Haines and grandmother, Joyce Grant, with whom he grew.
