New St. Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister sworn in

Head of the Team Unity coalition Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris was sworn in as Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis shortly after 5:00 pm on Wednesday.  Dr. Harris’ three party coalition won seven of the 11 seats at stake in the general elections, held on Monday 16 February 2015.

In his inaugural address as Prime Minister Dr. Harris pledged to work diligently to build prosperity in the country and to deepen the practice of democracy. He also committed his government to ensuring a fair share for all.
