Security Arrangements in place for visit by US President and CARICOM Heads
Jamaica’s Minister of National Security, Hon. Peter Bunting has expressed satisfaction with the progress of the security arrangements being put in place by the Security Forces, in collaboration with the United States Secret Service, to welcome and host the visit of President Barack Obama and CARICOM Heads of Government.
The Minister and his Permanent Secretary were briefed, on the security and logistical plans surrounding the visit, by the Chief of Defence Staff and the Commissioner of Police along with their support officers Wednesday.
