Miller, who led form the start, dived to the ground at the finish line as favourite Allyson Felix of the United States was gaining ground.

The 22-year-old continues the Caribbean’s golden streak this week in track. Elaine Thompson of Jamaica won the women’s 100m race on Saturday while Usain Bolt created history by winning his third consecutive gold medal in the men’s 100m on Sunday.
