Region’s athletes complete successful sporting weekend

Jamaica convincingly won the 2016 CARIFTA Championships, held in Grenada over the Easter weekend.

The Jamaicans took 86 medals, while The Bahamas, in 2^nd place, won 34 and 3^rd placed Barbados got 20.

The CARIFTA Championships are staged annually for the Region’s junior athletes in male and female under 18 and under 20 categories.
