Region’s athletes complete successful sporting weekend
Jamaica convincingly won the 2016 CARIFTA Championships, held in Grenada over the Easter weekend.
The Jamaicans took 86 medals, while The Bahamas, in 2nd place, won 34 and 3rd placed Barbados got 20.
The CARIFTA Championships are staged annually for the Region’s junior athletes in male and female under 18 and under 20 categories.
