Students engaging in the CSME through field promotion
A group of Dominican students is on a study tour to St. Lucia this week as part of CARICOM’s programme to engage students in understanding the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).
Nineteen (19) students from the Dominica State College travelled to St. Lucia to participate in a series of engagements which have been arranged with ministries/departments responsible for labour, commerce and immigration as well as the local Stock Exchange, the Central Bank, a Regional service company and a large financial institution.
The objective of the CARICOM project is to engage the next generation in identifying career opportunities in the field with regard to wage employment, self employment and starting a business within the CSME.
