Tony Cozier is dead

Winston Cozier popularly known across the world as Tony Cozier has died at the age 75, the Jamaica Observer has reported.
Cozier, a Barbadian by birth was the voice of West Indies cricket for many years. Cozier developed a worldwide reputation as a commentator and writer of great repute and was seen as a West Indian cricket treasure, the newspaper said in its online edition.
He has been covering cricket since the early 1960’s.
The West Indies Cricket Board, in a tweet on the legendary commentator’s death said Mr Cozier “covered Windies Cricket for over 50 years; made a great contribution to the game. We extend condolences to his friends and family”.
