Two CAC Swimming Golds for Jamaican Atkinson

Jamaican Swimmer Alia Atkinson on Saturday won her second gold medal at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Atkinson clocked 26.60 seconds to capture top spot in the women’s 50 metres butterfly final.

On Friday, Atkinson also took gold in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in a Games record of 1:06.83 to win ahead of Mexican pair Byanca Rodriguez and Esther Gonzales.
