‘We don’t want to lose you,’ – Secretary-General tells UG 2014 graduating class

Given my own position as Secretary-General of CARICOM,  I naturally hope that the “community” you choose to serve is our Caribbean Community. We don’t want to lose you. After all, this University serves our Community as I am aware that there are a number of students from other CARICOM countries studying here. – CARICOM Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque in address to the University of Guyana’s 48th Convocation and Graduation Ceremony, 8 November, 2014.
