Former West Indies captains, Sir Garfield Sobers, Courtney Walsh and Brian Lara, head a galaxy of former West Indies cricketing stars who have confirmed their participation in an exhibition game and fundraising dinner, in South Florida, on January 24 and 25, this year.
The Cricketing Legends weekend of activities will start on Friday, January 23, with a welcoming reception, to be followed by a dinner on Saturday, January 24, at the South Florida Conference Center, 6101 NW 31st Street, in Margate, starting at 7:00 pm.
Keynote speaker for the dinner will be Deryck Murray, the former wicketkeeper/batsman. The event will give lovers of the game and fans of the players, a unique opportunity to meet and greet their heroes of years past. Special uest at the banquet will include; Wes Hall, Andy Roberts and music legend, The Mighty Sparrow.
