‘We are continuing to press on’ – Prime Minister Skerrit
Authorities are making improvements on the delivery of supplies to Dominicans on the ground, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said Tuesday morning.
“We are continuing to press on”, he said.

He told an extensive news briefing that food supplies were on the way. He gave the assurance that every person and every household would receive supplies in a “transparent and equitable manner”.
“No one part of the country can help the other because we are all in the same situation.The entire country has been affected”, he said, as he called for patience and understanding.
Representatives from the utility and insurance companies were on hand at the briefing to provide updates also.
