‘Nothing to fear about CSME’ – QC Principal
There is nothing to fear about the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), says principal of Queen’s College, Dr. David Browne.
That was Browne’s assertion as he delivered his annual report to the Queen’s College Association (QCA) when members of the alumni gathered for their annual general meeting on Saturday in the school’s hall.
“The space which is Barbados’ will not continue and cannot continue to provide meaningful employment for our people,” he said, adding that Queen’s College was about the business of preparing productive citizens for the CSME and beyond.
“We must prepare our students to function throughout the region and further afield, and it is critical that we prepare them well,” he stressed.
