Regional Seminar on Statistics focuses on 2020 Census, RSDS
A Regional High Level Seminar on Statistics focusing on the 2020 Round of Population and Housing Census and the Regional Strategy for the Development of Statistics (RSDS) got underway in St. George’s, Grenada, Thursday morning.
The Seminar at the Grenada Trade Centre explores the role of the Census in the implementation of the RSDS.
Sessions will look at the leadership and management of the RSDS, statistical standardisation and harmonisation through the RSDS, and statistical literacy through the Strategy. Participants will also hold discussions on the use of non-traditional sources of data and gender mainstreaming.
Recommendations from the seminar are to feed into the High Level Advocacy Forum on Statistics which will be held on Friday, also in Grenada.
A High Level Advocacy Forum on Statistics will be held next week as the Region continues to place more emphasis on the production and use of quality statistics. https://t.co/C4tha3JASB
