A new permanent logo to be used for subsequent CARIFESTAs was unveiled at the closing of CARIFESTA XIV. The ceremony was held at the Queens Park Savannah in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.

The logo was approved at a meeting of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) with the CARICOM Ministers of Culture in June 2019. “The sun-head represents the brilliance of our Caribbean creatives, the energy and passion we feel about our rich and diverse cultures. This infinitely renewable creativity is the vitality that fuels CARIFESTA, a quintessentially Caribbean space where we come together to celebrate the beauty of one people and one region.

The next CARIFESTA will be held in Antigua and Barbuda in 2021.
