CARICOM SG meets Heads of Election Observation Missions in Guyana

CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque (at left in photo)  on Friday held a joint meeting with Heads of the Observer Missions from CARICOM, the Commonwealth and the Organisation of American States (OAS) which will observe Guyana’s 2 March General Elections.

CARICOM’s 17-Member Mission is being led by the Saint Lucia Electoral Commission Chairperson and former High Court Judge Ms Cynthia Combie Martyr (2nd left); the Commonwealth Group by the former Prime Minister of Barbados Mr Owen Arthur (3rd left); and the OAS team by former Jamaica Prime Minister Mr Bruce Golding (right).
