Severe flooding hits St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Authorities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines closed schools and most businesses in capital city Kingstown remained closed Wednesday as heavy overnight and early morning rains caused widespread flooding and landslides.

There were no reports of deaths or injuries but callers to local radio reported damage to property.
