Barbadians observe centenary of birth of National Hero and Champion of Regional Integration

Barbados is today marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of national hero, former Prime Minister Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow.

Mr. Barrow was also a champion of Regional Integration, and was one of the original signatories to the Treaty of Chaguaramas, which established the Caribbean Community and Common Market in 1973.

To mark today’s occasion, Barbados Ambassador to CARICOM Mr David Commission produced this booklet “Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow: Champion of the Caribbean Community”
