CARICOM, IAEA officials meet

Representatives of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) met at the CARICOM Secretariat on Tuesday 6 September, 2016.

Assistant Secretary-General, Foreign and Community Relations, Ambassador Colin Granderson, held discussions with Mr. Saul Perez Pijuan, Section Head of the Division for Latin America and the Caribbean, Department of Technical Cooperation, IAEA.

They discussed strengthening future technical collaboration in areas such as health, agriculture, water management, safety and security, and disaster prevention, preparedness and response for the benefit of CARICOM Member States.
