Within the period 10-21 June, at least 50 requests were recorded for purchase of the Nut-Med Spray from persons with ailments pertinent to the relieving properties of the product. Meanwhile, scores of others were either fascinated by the smell or by the mere fact that such a product could be derived from ‘noce moscata’ (nutmeg),” the Grenadian representative, Mrs. Tracey Garrett- Baptiste, explained.

While just a few short weeks have elapsed since the opening of the CARICOM Pavilion, an impressive number of visitors has visited the Grenada booth and many of them have reminisced on past visits to Grenada; some as recent as last winter, and others as far back as 20 years ago.

All have indicated interest in returning and highly commended Grenada’s beauty and hospitality.

The Grenadian team is extremely pleased with the prodigious responses thus far. As such, we look forward with great anticipation to each day as an opportunity to further promote our tiny isle of spice,” Mrs. Garrett-Baptiste stated.

Expo Milano 2015 is being held under the theme ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life‘, in Milan, Italy from 1 May-31 October, 2015.

During the six months of the Exposition, the participating CARICOM Member States will also have the opportunity to showcase aspects of their tourism products to millions of visitors from around the world.
